I am the owner of Harbour City Healers and a registered Acupuncturist in Nanaimo, British Columbia. I was born in Edmonton, Alberta and moved to Nanaimo, British Columbia in 1996. 

My Story - How Acupuncture Changed My Life!

In 2004, I was in a car accident. I was experiencing headaches, neck pain and back pain on a daily basis. Throughout the next two years, I received massage and chiropractic treatments to help ease the pain and I took ibroprofen for the headaches. This only gave me temporary relief that lasted roughly 2-3 days. 

After living with this pain for so long, my mom had the amazing idea to get Acupuncture. I initially received 2 treatments per week. Each week I got better and better! After a couple months, I no longer had headaches and my pains were gone! Over the next couple years, I continued Acupuncture for general well-being and received a tune up treatment for my neck and back whenever needed, which was typically every 4-6 weeks. 

After my experience, I felt very passionate and eager to spread the word about the benefits from Acupuncture.  

In January 2008, I took a 6 month Relaxation Massage course. I have since created my own massage style with Swedish, Lomi-Lomi, and Tui-Na massage techniques. 

In September 2008, I attended Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC - 1 year Natural Health Course. 

​In September 2009, I attended Reeves College in Edmonton, AB - 3 year Acupuncture Program. 

​Since August 2012, I became a registered Acupuncturist. I am in good standing with the College of Traditional Medicine Practitioners of BC. ​

Since August 2012,  I became the owner of Harbour City Healers. ​
