Your First Visit
When booking your first Acupuncture visit, you'll receive an e-mail to fill out your health history intake form. This is submitted electronically prior to arriving for your treatment. It is best to complete this questionnaire as thoroughly as possible. Some of the questions may seem unrelated to your main concerns but they may play a major role in your diagnosis and treatment plan. Traditional Chinese Medicine treats the body as a whole and takes everything into account.

After reviewing your intake form, we will discuss your condition and I will determine a TCM diagnosis. At this point, we will start your first Acupuncture treatment! I will choose specific Acupuncture points to treat your ailments. 

Once the needles are inserted, you'll relax for 20-40 minutes with the needles in place. Many people find Acupuncture treatment deeply relaxing, and it is not uncommon for patients to fall asleep during this time.
